About Us
Wingate Farm is a woman-owned and led diversified farm operation in Hinsdale, NH. We grow about an acre of mixed vegetables for farmers markets, and raise around 1,000 laying hens on pasture. Our highest priority is nurturing healthy animals, soils, and humans. We are a fun-loving, hard-working group of people dedicated to our land and community.
We are a family farm with multiple generations residing and working on the property. We strive to ensure that Wingate remains a safe and nurturing space for everyone here.
2025 Farm Crew:
We are hiring a part-time helper for the 2025 growing season! This person will primarily help us with field work and the harvesting of mixed vegetables from our high tunnels and field. Chicken chores and egg cleaning may be part of the work day as well.
We are a small enterprise, so a successful candidate will be content and productive working alongside the farmers and by themselves. This part timer will have the opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of our operations, and is ideal for someone eager to learn about and excel in small-scale vegetable production and pasture-based poultry management.
At least one full season of commercial vegetable farm experience is required.
Part-time position is Monday and Wednesday or Friday, June-October, averaging 12-15 hours a week. Additional hours may be available if desired.
Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. Our starting rate is $17 an hour.
